Leadership Blount presents an annual Community Leadership Award during a special presentation each spring. The award recognizes individuals whose actions reflect Leadership Blount’s commitment to life-long service. Nomination forms should include specifics describing how the nominee has served the community. Participation in Leadership Blount is not a requirement for nomination. Nominees are judged on the following criteria.

• Demonstrating a sustained commitment to leadership in Blount County
• Exercising leadership in a variety of community positions
• Helping to develop future community leaders
• Using leadership positions to promote the development of Blount County
